Video: Interview with BTPS pensions director Kevin O’Boyle

UK – British Telecom Pension Scheme pensions director Kevin O’Boyle speaks to GP senior correspondent Giovanni Legorano about how an internal review led the fund to shift to a contract based scheme for the defined contribution members.

O'Boyle explained the review also involved the defined benefit scheme, which moved from a final salary to a career average revalued earning basis.

In addition, he talked about how the fund improved communication to its members and how more information on the scheme's investments was made available to them.
